What a lovely place to spend Christmas with the family. Warm and cosy with stunning views. The standard was very high throughout and we had everything we needed. We would thoroughly recommend.

Laykin is heavenly. We sat and admired the view from the terrace for hours, watching the Dale below. The flower meadows were at their best and we had glorious sunshine. We couldn't fault the cottage. Thank you for a special stay.

Once again a lovely relaxing break in such a beautiful welcoming home from home. We've been coming a few years now and find it astonishing her everything in the house still feels brand-new! Credit to the housekeeping!

We have truly had the most relaxing, amazing week in your beautiful cottage! The decor, beds and added extras have made for a much needed get away for us all. The views are spectacular and the children have enjoyed walking down to the swings in the trees at the bottom of the field near the ford. Definitely a place we will all return to!

We can't stay away! This is our third visit - only seven months since the last one! Even in the rain this place is beautiful and the Swale a sight to behold. Had another fabulous week and everything still great at Laykin, we will return!
