We are biased, but think we can provide some of the best views in the Dale, if not the world! We defy you not to fall in love with Swaledale as we did when we bought the properties.

We are a family run business, and aim to provide a very special holiday experience.  The self catering cottages  are totally secluded, with no neighbours and are approached via their own private roads. They are modern, comfortable and have been totally refurbished recently. All furniture and furnishings are new. They are cosy and warm with under floor heating downstairs and wood burning stoves.

The peaceful rural location is perfect for walks over the moors straight from the door. It is a bird watcher’s paradise, and close to the Unesco World Heritage flower meadows of Gunnerside and Muker. The area has been put on the map by the Tour de France in 2014, and is ideal for cycling on and off road.

It is half a mile to Low Row where there is an award winning gastro pub The Punch Bowl Inn. It is about 4 miles to Reeth, which has pubs, teashops, ice cream parlour, a post office, doctor’s surgery and the weekly market on the green.

All linen and towels are provided together with a welcome pack. Changeovers are done once a week on a Saturday.  Short breaks are sometimes available in low season.

Walkers and cyclists and children of all ages most welcome. High chair, travel cot, stair gates, books, indoor and outdoor toys provided. Games, maps DVDs and books provided for adults.

No smoking. No dogs..
